In general BM monk needs some thinking to play, but overall can be a very potent tank with probably the most active rotation. Mistweaver: For the next 30 seconds, your mastery is increased by 42. Additionally, Keg Smash cooldown is reset instantly and enemies hit by the ability take 8 increased damage from you for 10 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. Giving you a good buffer shield to survive. Brewmaster: For the next 30 seconds, your mastery is increased by 10. They wont be able to heal you and they have to heal a buttload of the raid anyway. On sludgefist time it when your ranged and healers are either getting chained or knocked back. You can easily time every cast so the add spawns with 90% and is healed by your team to full instantly. On hunstman altimore when you tank the second add pop celestial brew 1 second before Rip soul. On sriekwing beore exanguinating strike pop celestial brew. As a BM I find myself being able to hold a lot more without having to kite compared to other tanks like vengeance DH.Īt raids celestial brew is a very strong skill to use. At some point all tanks in m+ HAVE to kite. I personally can tank very well lots of dungs in the +14 +15 range with no issue at all. Something just feels off.īrewmaster is a very good tank for all content at the moment.įor M+ it is the second most popular after veng DH and for raid many teams go for BM monk + Vegn DH. Low stagger (hell still not even near 70%)Ġ magical midigation (besides those what 35% of stagger [thats 24% stagger, doesnt sound so bad on paper but ingame it sucks hard)ĭoesnt help that i like the toolkit. Something is missing on Brewmaster right now. It tiks for more then 7k every second with a HP pool of 47k? (50k with flask and armor kit) its plain stupid. Last boss “de other side” 12 or 13 this weak, the dot Debuff you get sometimes from Soulcrush is ja bad joke. Same goes for the first 2 trash groups in Mist of Tirna (rest of the dungeon is easy). The trash in Theater of Pain is fair game and very easy but the Trash in “de other side” is just insane, dieing in 5 seconds even with CDs up CAN happen if interrupts/stun dont come up in the beginning. Best Covenant For Brewmaster Monks In Shadowlands - Shadowlands 9. Trash groups litteraly destroy me/us sometimes. The Brewmaster Monk is a great all-rounder tank and can trade blows with the most. Now with 208 tanking feels much more like it was in BfA BUT (and thats a big BUT) this only counts for Bosses. After hitting ilvl 200+ it will get easier to tank everything up to 10.
